Eli Lilly supports WVYP StepUp Grant

stepup_logo_smallAfter a hugely successful first year, WVYP is delighted to announce that Eli Lilly has agreed to support its StepUp scheme for another year.

StepUp is a small grants programme which aims to celebrate, encourage and support success in young people. It is open to young people aged 11-18 who live in Surrey Heath, who are starting to succeed at a regional or national level in their chosen activity. Success could be in any of a range of fields including academic, sporting, artistic or community focussed.

Over the last year StepUp has supported Zoe Taylor (rower), Eve Bushell (netball player), Katy Hurt (singer/songwriter) and Joe Brewer (BMX racer) and you can read their stories at www.wvyp.org.uk. “It’s fantastic to be able to support the hard work these young people put in and to celebrate their successes” says Stefan Nahajski, CEO of WVYP.

StepUp is now open for new grant applications and more information about the grant and an application form are available here.
